Oxy-hyrdrogen project

Oxy-Hydrogen gas is one of the main fuels of the future. Basically, it is water turned into a gas by the use of electricity. The process and the resulting flame are CO2-free. OPAi works on an installation that generates heat and electricity in buildings and has filed for patent.

It is not that the technology is new: The invention is the combination of existing technologies into a new concept that can help in the transition towards the decentralised production of energy from renewable sources.

Architectural firms RAU and Powerhouse Company designed the concept for H2Otel, the world’s first building powered by oxy-hydrogen.
